About me

Let me start by introducing myself. I am Sofie 😊 I am Belgian, a mom, a student, a chemical engineer and hopefully soon a teacher. 

As a mom: I am fortunate to have 2 adorable boys - or should I say "mostly" adorable. Their names are Jules and Arthur and they are 5 and 7 years old. I also have a plus daughter, Emma, who is 19 already. Together with my husband, we live in Japan, Kobe at the moment. Before this, we were living in Belgium and we moved to Japan in 2018 - for work reasons. 

As a chemical engineer: I was working for 15 years for Procter&Gamble, in the Research and Development department, which was a truly amazing experience...but everyone needs a change every now and again, so I decided to pursue my dream of being a high school teacher.

As a student: I am currently enrolled in a teaching program at Moreland university. Still have a long way to go but I am so passionate and can't wait to start teaching. 

In this blog I would love to share some of the things I am most passionate about, this can be about teaching, travelling and cooking.
